    Luxury is a rock band from Toccoa, Georgia, formed at Toccoa Falls College in the early 1990s as The Shroud and renamed before signing with Tooth & Nail Records. Its early records fused melodic punk to alternative rock, with guitar phrasing recalling the Smiths and a dry, English-sounding vocal delivery. On Amazing and Thank You, the band moved between energetic songs and slow ballads, with romance running through much of Lee Bozeman's writing. the latest & the greatest changed the balance: the guitars came further forward, while songs written after the near-fatal 1995 crash turned toward gratitude and the joy of living. By the self-titled Luxury, the sound had grown darker and more textured, pairing droney alternative pop with apocalyptic religious criticism and reflective lyrics.

    A car wreck following the 1995 Cornerstone Festival hospitalized most of the band and forced a long recovery. Luxury returned with the latest & the greatest, but its relationship with Tooth & Nail Records weakened; the group did not renew its contract and issued the self-titled Luxury through Bulletproof Music in 1999. The band broke up soon afterward. Jamey Bozeman formed They Sang As They Slew, while Lee Bozeman recorded as All Things Bright and Beautiful. In 2005, Luxury reconvened in Toccoa to make Health & Sport, although the members were no longer playing regularly. Chris Foley was studying at St. Vladimir's Seminary during the recording, and the finished album was described as possibly the band's last. The group later resumed recording, releasing Trophies in 2019 and Like Unto Lambs in 2024. Three members became Orthodox priests. Luxury is still an independent band.
