The new demo from Abhor Evil contains some decent moshing in tunes like "Element Of Mind", but the lousy production sonics make it a chore to listen to this tape. The band has some good ideas with time changes and rests, but it ain't done right yet. I like the funky direction the band is going, so in time I expect we'll hear some really choice stuff. The fun behind the music is evident in "Bass Solo Salute". It's not until "Love" that we really hear the guitars in the mix. A good mix would do this band wonders.
