Ann and Phil Case are in Carter Family mode on this recording of traditional Americana tunes. This is truly a family effort, as they play all instruments and perform all vocals. Ann's vocals are passable, and Phil's work on the banjo passes muster, but after about five songs, this becomes a redundant album, and does little to hold interest.
