Bloodlet formed in 1992, touring the world and elsewhere. After a time they went on an indefinite hiatus. They have recently reformed and this is their first album since coming back. It is entitled "Three Humid Nights in the Cypress Trees," and is available from the good folks at Victory records.
I'm not familiar with Bloodlet's earlier work, call me ignorant, call me what you will. That being said, I can't compare their new album with how they used to sound etc. But on its own, this album is boring, repetitive, and annoying. "I Have Such a Hard Time Making New Friends" was so irritating, I have no doubt he does. To be honest, I had a hard time listening through the whole thing. The guitars sound terrible and the vocal style (for me at least) is very abrasive. "Three Humid Nights in the Cypress Trees" is a failure in attempting to give the listener enjoyment. If you can get through the whole thing without making a sour face, you win the prize.
