Another high-quality melodic metal band from Sweden unleashes its artistic prowess on this 45. They won a big secular band competition, where the first prize was a 7" recording. So, here it is! The A-Side, "FRI" (meaning "free" in Swedish, which makes sense), is a good song sung in Swedish. (Give this one to a rocker who says, "I never listen to the words...") Nice and heavy, yet very commercial. Good mix of guitars, vocal harmonies, keyboards, and lead vocals. "Calling", the B-Side, is a very good tune - showing the talent of this band in a way that us English-speakers can understand.
