Indie electronic musician Dat Mot has followed this process for the past few years and now he's released a collection of his best work, Dat Mot Revisited. Each track on the album is radically different from the next, jumping from techno to hip-hop, industrial to metal, and various other styles.
Unlike Dat Mot Revisited, Gigabyte is a much more focused and concise release. Tight breaks and playful synths elevate tracks like "That Feel" and "Hawd." Although every track is enjoyable, the standout is the mid-tempo cut "On Point." Let these two releases be a lesson to the kids; you don't need a record deal to make records. Folks have been doing it for years.
