Man oh man! I'm not quite sure what to think. I know I like it. Lots! But it's lots different than Deliverance, but still it's the same. Nine new songs & one remix. I have my faves here but all of 'em are shreddin' & super heavy. The title song is the first track here & it's just one bad little song. It's about the struggle between the spirit & the flesh. "Words to the..." deals with the struggles of this world & the longing to see God someday. "Lord Of Dreams" (my fave) sounds oddly like a Christmas song. Hmmm... figure it out yourself. The biggest highlight is their cover of "Horrendous Disc", if you've heard the original song by Daniel Amos. This is a pretty cool cover of the song, just as dramatic as the original, just a little heavier. All the vocals on this tape are layered & darker, very strange. This is a new direction for Deliverance, even produced by Terry Taylor, & a good change in an old idea.
