Ever wonder what some of the Blenderhead guys do when they're not blending heads? Don't Know. That's right - Don't Know. What a cool name! Lest you think said bands are clones, I'll tell you that Don't Know sounds somewhat less angry and even a little silly. It does have a typical Tooth & Nail west coast alterno-punk (what?) type sound. What can one say about the song, "59, 79, 99," (a two-minute hard funk Taco Bell commercial)? Fun. "Cheese Whiz Craze" uses 70's style rap which groovily tells the listener about the microwavable dairy product. Furthermore, fans of Dighayzoose, Hot Pink Turtle, One Bad Pig, and, of course, Blenderhead should get into this album.
There are many bands who tend to over-spiritualize and sometimes simply try to impress people with tall piles of Biblical knowledge. That's why I like Don't Know. They are real people, and they don't seem to be trying for any other titles than those of "real people." It's evident that they're not afraid to utilize humor in their art, which is to be commended.
