If you enjoy "thrash metal", you should undoubtedly look into this five-man band. Sounding borderline Lust Control or One Bad Pig, Empty Tomb has songs that are short and to the point. The lyrics, I must say, leave little to the imagination, though. Accompanying very impressive guitar playing and awesome drum cascades, this band has a lead singer by the name of Feeble Mann. I however, only found one flaw in this "weak man" (ha, ha). He seems on a few songs to have a problem with high octaves. I hear this a lot in today's music industry, and I believe that it can almost benefit bands at times. This error in voice does in fact benefit this band, giving the music and vocals somewhat of a harsh sound. Although some would disagree with me on this issue, I feel that it is no problem with this band, although a touch here and there wouldn't hurt. The vocals seemed to get across the message, and I feel that is what counts. In addition to the good music, the lyrics on such songs as "Rabid Daddy" and "Ms. Jane Doe" could be considered almost morbid, but I believe again that the message behind the songs is accurate.
