First off, the guitar work on this CD kicks butt! There are plenty of juicy licks in this album, but two instrumentals? Pinch me. Fair Warning is full of energy and emotion, but these are not shown by the lead vocal. Brian Bauman's voice has a pile of potential. The next album will definitely be killer.
Most of the songs, like "Are You Ready" and "Armor of God," are straight ahead rock & roll, but there are those, such as "Do You Know Jesus," an upbeat, acoustically driven tune that remind you of sitting around the bonfire at summer camp.
The drums seemed to have the same sound throughout the record, sticking to the classic high school prep band fills on each song.
