Here's some high quality music. It's so refreshing to see a band go after a commercial/melodic style and actually pull it off. Faxx, a Lancaster, California-based hard rock outfit, are very competent. Lead vocalist James Salters reminds me of Twenty 2/0's old singer, and maybe a little bit of Joey Tempest (Europe) thrown in. Musically, the Europe comparison is very close. Nice guitar chops are complimented by subtle keyboard lines. "Big World", "Waiting", and "Follow Me" are recorded here, with "Follow Me" probably being the hardest. The big BGV's remind me a little bit of The Scorpions as well. Hot band to be reckoned with.
