Besides using copyrighted material from Heaven's Metal without permission, these guys are alright. Actually, this is one intense custom thrash tape. In all four songs, this trio holds their sound together very tightly, which can be heard most clearly in the instrumental "M.D.O.D.", and lead guitarist Eric Hoffman even handles the lead vocals on the other three songs...at this speed, quite an accomplishment. Producer Marc Pomeroy did a swell job in pushing the guitar crunch levels up high, without sounding unbalanced. The vocals are punchin' too. Lyrically the band is hardcore: "No one is righteous/ no, not even one/ But we can become so/ through faith in the Son." (from the title track) "Now this life is over/ and before You I stand/ Forever in the presence of glory and the Lamb." (from "Where Pain Never Dwells")
