I first heard Full Speed Ahead from their split 7" with Kill Your Idols. It was just about a perfect fit for them to get together to do a split being they sound a lot alike. Born To Lose would happen to be the bands last album but has been on the back burner for being released for the past few years. Now Born To Lose is finally being released on Manic Ride with a wild cover art piece by Pushead.

Full Speed Ahead plays a fast and furious style of hardcore with quick mosh breakdowns and circle pit verses. Very similar to Negative Approach and Kill Your Idols. The only problem I have with this album is the fact that the album says that they covered Black Flag's "Jealous Again" when they actually covered Black Flag's "Depression". Other than that, this album is quite enjoyable. Four years of waiting didn't take the bite out of this album.
