This demo is a low budget, 6-track recording with a muddy mix, allowing just the potential of this band to shine through. Vocalist Glen Harrigan hasn't quite arrived, but he certainly shows confidence as he lets his voice fly a few times. He could be really hot in time. Most of the lyrics here are pretty much of the theme - "Oh, how my heart aches since you left me girl." Two of the exceptions are "Stripes for All", which is a clear presentation of the Gospel; and "I Will Fight No More", which laments the broken promises and hate that the white settlers gave to the American Indians 200 years ago. Two things that seem inappropriate are: the cartoon of the nude woman statue on the full-color cover; and the lyrics to "Free Spirit", which rub me the wrong way, seeming to give room for rebellion against the body of Christ and God.
