Now, for the last "underground" and up-and-coming band, I have saved what could be the best for last. Hidden Faces, a band from Philadelphia (what's the deal with all these new bands from Pennsylvania?) has only been around for three years, but they've already made a name for themselves by brief mentionings in CCM and playing shows with musicians such as The Call, S.F.C., X-Sinner, Kim Hill, Kim Boyce, Paul Smith, Morgan Cryer, Larry Norman and several others.
Hidden Faces has been receiving tremendous reviews, being compared to U2, Rolling Stones and the Beatles. The band has a really cool sound about them, kind of a slight alternative (of course everything I hear has a slight alternative sound to it) with a danceable rock flavor. I expect a lot out of these guys. They are already turning heads, so look out for them.
