If you're a fan of fast punk rock, then you'll love Hold True. Hold True's lyrics speak the truth and are evangelistic. I have to give them an "A" for effort, but I had to grit my teeth just to listen to this. Matt has a clean voice, but I could hardly understand what he was saying anyway. Various times throughout the 8-song tape, it sounds like guitar goes out of tune, and you can hardly hear the drums through the cymbals. I'm sure there are some punks who would love Hold True, but it would be beyond me if any metalhead would.
