folk music here with a lot of praise & worship ideals, by danielson's father lenny smith, who's been writing for 30 years. he wrote 'our God reigns'. this is a live indie tape that avoids the over-production and glam that would be affixed with an industry release. simple acoustic guitar with occasional percussion (drums, tambourine, xylophone (i think it is), etc.), bass, piano and electric gtr. folk melodies with a lot of harmonies, that to me would be perfect around a campfire, hiking in the mountains. not the 'syrup' kinda stuff from the industry, but more theology in the lyrics. example: 'it was You' dealing with life before birth. the black and white copy of the cover here doesn't do the color j-card justice, artwork by danielson. lenny has a song book available as well. i highly recommend this tape.
