Here's yet another impressive Cut & Paste Collective album, albeit not as impressive as the other ones we got of Canary, Lackthereof, and Luxury. This one is a 5-song EP recorded by Jamey Bozeman of Canary. Yeah, Locust Years are doing the emo thing, but at least they aren't being all pretentiously pansy about it (well, sometimes they are pretentious, like in "She Said," but not enough to ruin everything completely). Lots of high hat, lots of whispering, lots of screaming, lots of start-stop action, and even a little guitar noodling. Yeah, the songs are young, and not terribly original, but they're more mature and ambitious than most of the crap like it. Kind of reminds me of Eyes of Autumn from T-Town. And when they quit whispering and flat out ROCK, like "Gloria," they thoroughlev.
