The first thing I thought about when I heard this tape was, "These guys sound just like Luti-Kriss." Luti-Kriss is a local band from the Atlanta area. They are currently talking to several labels and doing a good bit of out-of-town shows. They'll be big soon. I believe Longsuffer will be as well. Imagine somebody slapping Travail with a bit of metalcore and you've got a pretty good idea of what Longsuffer sounds like. The vocals range from a pretty intense scream to a Korn-ish type of moan. They have a solid Christian message as well. The music tends to lean towards a pimpcore type style while keeping its roots in hardcore. All in all, it's a good demo and I look forward to any further releases by Longsuffer.

HM Magazine #77Reviewed by Doug Van PeltOkay, it's still the "Name Game." This band is hardcore, right? Right! As intense as they come (on lo-fi cassette), these guys rip. Five songs of screaming energy. I don't know why they don't pump this music into nursing homes to kick start weak hearts (well, maybe I do know...).
