Man Alive, a band from Jerusalem, Israel, is just playing what they like with a certain indie passion. Incorporating rock (indie and '80s) and punk (old school and modern), Man Alive members focus on just taking the passion of rock and the family values of punk and work at playing the music as well as they can. Starting out, Work in Progress leans towards old school punk and runs into modern punk every once in a while. Towards the end, it slows down and has a little bit of an old school feel, but mainly it has an '80s rock influence with the modern indie rock passion that drives and drives just right.
Man Alive may not be the best band, but members are hard working, talented, and unashamed of their faith when it comes out of their music. Although they do need some work, I do see a good future for these young people. Overall, I see energetic band members that are up and coming and starting to be smart about their music: practicing, working hard, and being passionate for the music.
