Profondeur is the latest release by Manifestium and with it comes a great departure from what they have established. Gone are all heavy vocals. Now they do their singing approach and change it up by using different effects. The music for the most part is not as intense as previous material I've heard by them. The most intense song on this CD is 'The Angel Fell Silent' which for the most part you'd want to throw in the industrial genre as the vocals give that rendition as does the distortion of the guitars. Still in the middle they slow the song down a good bit and fits this new style of music for the band.

The music is still heavy without a doubt but they've taken a turn more along the lines of what Deuteronomium have done with their latest Here to Stay to which I'm not a big fan of. The drums don't seem to be as creative here as they were on Dawn of Domination which really takes away from the overall feel.

The production is really crisp and clear they've done well for a self produced CD-R, which is how this was released with a full color insert. Quite an interesting CD for sure but I don't expect to find this one spinning all that much really.
