Apocalyptic hard rock reminiscent of Stronghold, an old group on the now-defunct Tunesmith label, describes Messiah. Heavy organ and guitar sound with symphonic rock arrangements make up Messiah's sound. Fans of early 70's metal will like this. Unfortunately, the production sounds dated by almost 20 years.

"Who's To Blame" and "Outta Control", the first two tracks, are the most memorable.

The album cover artwork is a full-color artist's rendition of outer space spiritual warfare a la tribulation times.

A collector's item that rates a decent review, yet not enough energy to keep a young metalhead goin'.

    Recorded and released in 1984.
