From the ruins of Midnight Orchestra (later Goliath) comes Mindset7. Delivered with sincerity, this three-piece from Indiana gives us a look into their world of music with this release. Its predictable music at times is reminiscent of Audio Adrenaline or Lifehouse, but with a surprising voice that twists David Bazan with David Bowie. The "Bowie-esque" voice is brought out by a cover of "Don't You Forget About Me." The original 10 songs (+cover) complete the album. Overall, there definitely is enough catchy hooks to have you humming long after the cd is over.
