True Religion has the feel of a church choir that decided to record an album. None of the songs are newly written, most of them sound like each other, and there is nothing to make it stand out vocally. In short, this is the kind of album you buy if you know someone on it, listen to it once, then file it away in your collection only to be taken out as a conversation piece. The themes of the songs are fine, but standards such as "Great is Thy Faithfulness" and "The Lord's Prayer" do little to make this worth repeated listens.
