Between the CD artwork and the intro track ("Woe..."), it's not hard to get a feel for the theme of this release. As your eyes are filled with horrible images of human destruction (such as the three-panel spread of a holocaust scene), your ears are filled with various dark noises and tortured screaming. The very evident subject for the songs that follow is the apocalypse. The music is described as "industrial-strength rock". The key word here is "rock" while industrial elements do exist, the focus is definitely on the metal side of things. The bass and vocal style add a bit of a funky element to the mix to boot. The "gets old quick" award goes to the 36-minute hidden track of the entire CD playing backwards.
