This EP is really good, but it just doesn't grab me like others have. I really like the opening of the first song with slow heavy pounding beats, but it doesn't change much throughout the cd. They tried too hard in being melodic and slow, but still brutal. They should have gone crazy more often to make the slow parts sound more efficient. But, the music isn't bad and it is really heavy. The vocals are really crazy, and remind me A LOT like Dan from Zao. The last song, "beyond Belief" really encompasses what the band can really do. If the rest of the EP was like this, it would be a 10. The song starts out with a melodic, slow violin intro then just suddenly blast into some crazy metalcore. It slows down again, but after the crazy part, the slow stuff sounds really good and inventive. Then they do this really cool "Lord Jesus, I love You. I praise You. My life is Yours." with the vocalist screaming his heart out with tons of emotion and angst, and the guitarist playing a very intense riff. This is a good buy, but you might be happier with a more dynamic cd.
