Here's some garage thrash with lots of humor and heavy music. The production is below-average and some of the song structures lack a good hook, but the band shows some tightness and heavy chops. A couple of surprises emerge, besides the ad-libs between songs, them being the inclusion of "The B-I-B-L-E" song that you used to sing in Sunday school and "God Rules" mosh style. Interesting lyrics are found in "Land of the Free and the Grave", which obviously comments on the sinful state of our nation. "The Heavy Metal Song" seems to possibly be a rebuke to a band like Stryper. No names are mentioned, but the Isaiah 53:5 reference is printed next to the song title and the lyrics say this: "You're a real pretty boy now/ an' you play guitar/ But where's Jesus in it?" Whoa nelly! Regardless who it's directed to, it's a message that needs to be told.
