Their album is slow in getting started, but once it does it really fires. You can hear the quirky pop sensibilities of, say, early Collective Soul, Bush, or Kevin Clay's solo material. They mix an authentic rock vibe in with a strong (perhaps too strong) commercial appeal. Their edgy moments are what will pull you in. The instrumentation is tight and fairly progressive; and the vocals of Jared Taber are enjoyable. If they keep writing with those hooks in mind and pursue passion and distinctiveness, RadialAngel will become radio angels that everyone hears.
