So you like Waterdeep. You think that hippy music is pretty cool. You've got their CDs, and now you're wondering what to do next. Well, here's your solution. Raging Grace perform blues rock, with a folk sensibility around it, and a definite hippy-drive that will make your ear-drums rejoice. Stephen Bell's marvelous work as lead guitarist, backed up by Brian Conway slapping the drums and Dean Shannon fiddling the bass, gives this record a definite classic rock-'n-roll feel.
The production is remarkably good for an independent release. There is a clear emphasis on the guitar, while not overemphasizing it. Lyrics are provided for each song, with Bible references as well. Raging Grace have honed the lyrics right down to the basics, making it easy to follow what they're trying to say. They express thanks to God, and talk about being broken in front of Him. "Live Forever" is a warning for non-Christians, to come to God:

Hear the warning, hear the plea, and hear the
crucified
Oh, to be befriended
We all live forever
The only problem with this album is the cover. In massive letters is written BITTERSWEET, and Raging Grace is in smaller print below, creating confusion as to what the band is actually called. But who cares what they're called, if the music's good?!
