This thrashin' band from Albuquerque, New Mexico has been making some noise for quite some time now. This is the first bit of music I've heard to review, though. It is genuine speed stuff with tons of kick and snare action, along with serious headbangin' rhythms. The fidelity of the mix is kinda muddy. I'd love to hear the vocals way on top of all the chops...guitars too.
Side 2 outshines side 1 in the fidelity department, with Paul Scozzafova's lead guitar finally breaking free above the mix in the song "Locked In Chains".
"Forgotten Faces" continues the moshin' music with some tight and fast drumming by Rob Hidalgo. This trio, which includes Rob, Paul, and bassist Michael Shane, is a tight unit.
"The Ballad" lasts for about 10 seconds, declaring that this is the ballad, and that's it.
"Deception" closes the tape with plenty of time changes and shouted lyrics.
