Razor Crusade is a kickback from about ten years or so ago. They have fused together a lot of the different hardcore sounds from the mid nineties. You can easily pull out some of their influences, such as Quicksand, Snapcase and Refused. They not only encompass the sound but also the lyrical matter as well. They do not use the usual tongue-in-cheek style of a lot of hardcore bands. They use more in-depth and poetic avenues to express their views and emotions. They follow the more artistic and experimental path. I guess I should mention they are from The Netherlands and contain two members of Reaching Forward. That is just a side note.
If you are a fan of mid-nineties hardcore you will probably enjoy this band but if you follow old school or new school style, you probably won't gel with this album but I found it enjoyable.
