This Swedish band continues the high quality, melodic standards that Leviticus, Jerusalem and Charizma have set. This six-song tape, although displaying demo-quality mixing and production, has a commercial sound that kills. I'm a sucker for this brand of metal and these guys pull it off with all the necessary ingredients. They've got hooks, leads, vocals, and lyrics. "Fight the Night" is an anthem that reverberates in your mind long after it's over. The tape has some hot songs. It's not quite "blow you away" material, but it shows some tremendous potential. Besides, Niklas Franklin, the new bass player for Leviticus, says they're a good band. Another friend of the band, who sent me their tape, said, "They are well known in Jonuoping and most people think their music is great. The only ones who don't are the band members themselves." The band deliverated a long time before they even sent this tape to Heaven's Metal. I'm glad they did. This is a band we'll probably be hearing from in the future.
