I remember as a teenager in the '70s enjoying many of the Scripture in Songs we sang in Youth Fellowship. In fact, apart from hymns in that Anglican Church environment, this was my first exposure to slightly more modern songs of worship. Rock Bottom Choir has tapped into the vigor of country-folk and added the intensity of alternative rock to deliver a strong emotional & spiritual punch. Highly reminiscent of Jesus Rock bands like Mustard Seed Faith and the Way, Rock Bottom Choir is a breath of fresh air in the jaded CCM scene.
