Ryan Brown presents a wide variety of music on Here. With the exception of "Here" and "Witness to a Miracle," all songs were written by Brown, who also plays acoustic guitar with solid beat. Of particular interest is the title track, "Legacy and Purpose." Brown's voice has a slightly nasal quality, which is not unpleasant to listen to. The arrangements and accompaniments fit him like a glove and that makes Here a worthy addition to the 2003 CD line-up. Don't be put off by the name of the record company, Worthless Records. This collection is anything but.
