This four-song tape starts off with "Enter the Kingdom," a bass-heavy sound with irritating, nasally lead guitar tones--but this unit from Holland is anything but irritating. The style is death metal/thrash with vocals similar to Roger Martinez. "Question of Silence" has a most excellent groove to it. This band shows it has what it takes here. All the instruments tighten up and meld together to groove the listener into incessant headbanging. Great song! "The Echo of Empty Depths" shows the band romping through thrash land with power and authority, and they make it seem so easy! Lyrically, what Sculpture is dishing out is almost pure scripture. Fans of thrash--this ain't no junk! Check it out.
