Now moving on, this past year seemed to be a type of "bounce back" year for some older bands which produced some new material. Undercover and the 77's both came out with new albums and there is one on the way from Daniel Band.
The 77's actually released two albums within the past six months. "Sticks and Stones" was the first of the two, and it is a great album. They decided it would be a good idea to put together an album full of songs they had written and performed but never released. An album full of "dead ducks" or unreleased demos. It has proven to be a fruitful effort and not a bad way to jump back into the music scene.
I saw the tape sitting there in the book store, and I argued with myself whether I should invest in something put out by an "aged" band, but I gave in and I love it. It's a pretty good effort that contains all styles of music from love ballads, blues, dance music and even brushing into an alternative style. Overall somewhat diverse but interestingly pulling itself together. There are some great songs and there are a few that should probably have stayed on file, but it is worth the money you pay for it.

After adding that ethereal touch of perfection, as only they can, the end product has resulted in…Similar sounding releases
