When I first punched this tape in, I thought, "Oh no! Another honky tonk rock tape that'll sound irrelevant and end up being more a novelty than a serious rock project." That judgement holds true, but the Country-fried "The Hell Song" is a hilarious, tongue-in-cheek tune that demands airplay on Christian radio. The chorus reads, "If you don't look like me, you're goin' to hell," and the verses chronicle one long-haired young man's journey across the path of several narrow-minded believers.
