By naming the opening track of their debut album "Jangly," Tenth Leper aren't going to any lengths to make the listener guess as to their sound. Mellow, jangly pop is the band's chosen medium and instrumentally they're making their way along quite nicely -- the whole thing could do with being a bit tighter and with sharper production, but this is the band's recorded debut. Sadly the vocals are rather overbearing and a little flat, failing to inject the spark that the music needs.
