The best thing that I can say about this album is that it makes for decent, unobtrusive driving music. It's basically a very boring album, with songs that often start in a good groove, but never move beyond that point. There's no sense of song dynamics or a movement that takes the listener from Point A to Point B. In some places, the music is reminiscent of Beck's "Midnite Vultures", but without his witty lyrics or wacky sense of humor. Speaking of lyrics, they often mirror the repetitive nature of the music and simply drone on and on until the track ends. I'd only recommend this if you're a die-hard Dandy Warhols fan or an insomniac looking for some relief.
