Timing in at just over 40 minutes, this ride into the slightly psychedelic sounds less like R.E.M. and gives The Throes their own identity. William Campbell the only member from the original line-up (which had 3 people) and adding 4 new members, has allowed them to expand their sound into new directions, lots of fuzzed out, distorted, weird sounds including a distorted sax in one song. Songs include "Say Hello", "Tangerine Leaves", "Noose Of Trust", "Way Too Much", "Pain Of The Next", "For The Honesty", and as far as the lyrics, they are way too deep for me to even begin to explain. But nonetheless, go buy this second offering by The Throes and let it Fall On Your World.
