Counting Crows style music with spiritually milky, yet honestly worshipful lyrics. "And yes, our God, He is a consuming fire / And the flames burn down deep in my soul" ("Consuming Fire"). Also, "Read about Him in the Bible / He was in the men of God / And though I don't deserve it, He is in me / You can feel a new revival / Ask Jesus in your heart / And you'll feel so free...". There's lots of "ya, ya, ya's" & "no, no, no's" & lines repeated over & over, but there is some decent acoustic & electric guitar work going on. The song "Did You Mean It", backed by U2-like guitar, encourages you to get honest about your faith - is it "said faith" or for real? Decent musicianship with simple lyrics & song writing.
