Two Week Notice is a four-piece girl-fronted band, which hails from Atlanta, GA. "Turn On Me" is their independently released debut EP.
Two Week Notice is predominantly a "Christian" pop punk band ala The Halo Friendlies, old Element 101, etc... They also have some slower songs that might be called "indie," but the "pop" tag seems to be the most appropriate.
"Turn On Me" is sixteen minutes of pure listening enjoyment. It starts with two punk tracks, followed by a power pop song and a serious closing track, which features a wider dynamic range that brings the EP to a fitting end.
The weakness to the EP is most likely the lyrics, which some might find to be preachy and or cheesy, especially the line "remember the memories." However, the younger listeners that the band attracts probably don't care.
Just when it seemed that "pop punk was dead," along comes Two Week Notice with a killer EP. Hopefully, they won't put in their two-week notice anytime soon.
