from my favorite label comes a new alt. rock sampler. it has some new tracks from old t & n artists and tracks from currently unsigned bands. joy electric kicks off the jamboree with their brand of erasuresque tekno pop with more sampled guitars than usual creating one of j.e.'s best songs. next is rose blossom punch featuring aaron sprinkle (of poor ol lu fame-WOO HOO). sounds a lot like p.o.l., but hey, is that a bad thing? next is starflyer 2000. imagine s-flyer slowed down a bit then throw in a female singer. please make sure said vocalist is wearing ample protective gear so as to prevent injury causing a ruined song. anyway it's so beeuuteeful it almost makes ya cry. then ya have lance alton hemingway with another purty one called evangeline. skipping on to other favorites there is the sirago 17's bedspins (mustang ver.) trippy droning guitars and female vocals add up to a good thing. then there is mxpx with "suggestion box" which makes this disc a smorgasbord of audio delight.
