Compared to the first Demo-Lition album, this one rules! Several subgenres of hard music are well represented here. Hardcore is ruling the cutting edge scene right now, and this compilation of unsigned bands is certainly not absent of this movement. Mr. Bishop's Fist and Crucifix both attack their songs with a vengeance.
The industrial side of things takes the majority air time here, with several bearing the overwhelming Scott Albert sound stamp. Rivot, Klank, and Argyle Park all were produced in part by Scott. All are suspect of being a front for another Scott Albert musical expression.
Leader Dogs For The Blind are a standout here, with a real heavy tune and an intense groove and passionate vocals. Thorn Crown makes a good showing with a grunge tune sure to make a flannel 'n' boots wearin' grandma proud. Scapegoat throws in their inventive two cent's worth with an attack on organized religion (a.k.a. "The System"). Unlike a non-believing or cynical look at it, this song also focuses on the centrality of a personal relationship with Jesus.
