This "soundtrack" for the guitar tablature book features some of the heaviest and best Christian metal ever laid down on tape. Bands featured include Bride, X-Sinner, Guardian, Holy Soldier, Whitecross, Vengeance, Tourniquet, Deliverance, and guitar smashers One Bad Pig -- to name a few! Almost every style a guitarist would want to learn is represented here.
One highlight here is "In Your Face," the Shout tune that featured dueling leads by Marty Friedman, Michael Angelo, Lanny Cordola, Alex Masi, Joey Price and Randy Hansen as guests.
Without trying to be, this album is easily one of the best Christian metal compilation albums ever released. The book is a flat-out answer to prayer. Guitar players, say "Amen!"
Some songs will prove to be a challenge to learn, like the double leads in "To Hell With The Devil," but the tape is a good listen -- all 21 tracks.
