This CD is part of the year-long "It's All About Jesus" promotional campaign launched by Thomas Nelson. The campaign also included the W Publishing Group book, "Jesus", a companion Bible, and a companion journal. Thomas Nelson has said that their goal with the campaign was to encourage consumers to build a closer relationship with Christ.

This project resembles many other compilation CDs of recent years. Songs are gathered together from various artists, with very few of the songs actually being new recordings. This album features songs by artists such as Third Day, Watermark, and Darlene Zschech. Just in case you don't have any of the one million CDs where "Shout to the Lord" has been recorded, it is included on this project. Third Day's worship hit, "King of Glory" is on this project, but fans of the song would be better off buying the original.

The two new recordings, "All to Thee" by BDA and "One Pure and Holy Passion" by newcomer Jenn Weber are the best things on this project. If her song on this compilation is any indication, Jenn Weber is an artist to keep an eye on.

Aside from the two new recordings, this compilation is yet another tired rehash of songs that listeners are already well familiar with.

The repackaging of songs as a unified project is always a daunting task, especially when the groups contained…The Phantom Tollbooth 2005Reviewed by Bob FelbergJesus, the CD, has been released as a companion piece to Jesus, the book of inspirational thoughts and devotions featuring the writings of some of today's top authors. It features ten tracks from the likes of Warren Barfield, BDA and the Planetshakers doing familiar worship tracks. Jenn Weber, a newcomer to me, stands out with "One Pure and Holy Passion," an acoustic driven mid tempo beauty with…
