With the exception of Smelling Salts, Till Seven Years Pass Over Him, and possibly The Silent Music Club, Lower Case Records is a blend of mediocre acoustic alternative, a touch of punk and/or ska, and varied rock bands that do little to make a name for themselves. Fortunately, this comp does boast the new wave style of The Silent Music Club, the house antics of Smelling Salts, and the edge of Till Seven Years... Otherwise, Lower Case wouldn't really have much to offer the savvy listener.
