This is a tough album to review. The entire album is a compilation of ten Mortification songs redone by some of Mortification's friends and old members. All the proceeds go to support Steve Rowe and his family, who are recovering from the massive hospital bills that came from Steve's lengthy stay due to cancer. For this reason alone I suggest you buy the CD. Without Steve Rowe, my CD collection would probably be about half as big. Rowe productions has produced some of the best extreme Christian music available. If you are a loyal person, you owe it to Steve Rowe to purchase this album. However, I must warn you that the music is not all that great. The only slightly enjoyable songs are those done by Wrench, Cybergrind and R.U.G. Even those aren't that terrific. Wrench is actually about the best band on the album. Cybergrind needs some grind vocals and they would be good. R.U.G. is one of those mediocre death metal bands that really could use some work if they want to make it big on the Christian music scene. All the rest of the songs range from lame to very lame to downright horrible. Buying the album made me feel good to know that I was supporting the man who inspired and produced probably the majority of the music I listen to today but listening to the album made me feel a little ripped off. It is a good album just to have, but it sits in the back of my CD case.

Medical bills have a way of stacking up, however, and so a group of Steve's musically-inclined friends got together to make this tribute album to help pay his debts. First off, this is not just for metal fans. The album has an…
