Word Records has distributed a lot in the past with hard rock: Arkangel; Larry Norman; Darrell Mansfield; First Strike; and most recently Rez. It looks like they may be coming around again, ever so slowly. Featured on this tape of twelve artists are two that are relevant to the metal scene: Zion and Brighton.
"Is It A Crime?", taken from Zion's Thunder From The Mountain album, is hot stuff. "Stay With Me", by Brighton is much lighter, but still rocky enough to rate a listen. Most of the other artists are pretty good. Fans of The Choir will find plenty of ear food to munch on here.
