Go ahead and get excited. The anxiously-anticipated third release by Vengeance Rising is out and it'll rip yer head off. Ever menacing lead growler and composer Roger Martinez himself produced "Destruction Comes" and has done so with shocking cleanness. Guest lead guitarist D. Sean and drummer Chris Hyde flawlessly polish this collection. Consisting predominantly of horrific, death-metal styling, "Destruction" pulsates with authority right from the first furious beat, thrusting bone-chilling scripture, testimony, and challenge straight into your thick head as only V.R. can--just the way you like it! This landmark thrash offering turns new stones by throwing in hints of creative vocal sampling here and there--a feat that very few thrash bands dare attempt, but one that Vengeance Rising does with unparalleled effectiveness and class. Especially hair-raising is Roger's own vicious rhythm guitar style--that's right, he played it himself and, what can I say, he totally shreds. He's obviously God's gift to moshers. If you were scared that Vengeance Rising might wimp out, forget it! This one's gonna choke you!
